On July 17, the Winter Park Distilling Company hosted the organizational meeting of the Florida Craft Spirits Association at the Brewstillery. Representatives from over 40 distilleries across the State of Florida attended and voted to establish its first statewide trade association which will initially take up work on a legislative and regulatory agenda in Tallahassee focused on removing restrictions on sales to our own customers and barriers to new markets. Eventually, the association will also help drive industry relations and promote knowledge of the products.
