Lamm & Company Partners Awarded $65 M Mixed-Use Redevelopment, Maitland City Centre

photoWe are proud to congratulate our long-term client Lamm & Company Partners on the recent approval of the $65 million mixed-use redevelopment project, the Maitland City Centre which will add identity and a charming downtown to the City of Maitland! The development, which targets millennials and baby boomers living by SunRail, is comprised of 220 luxury apartments and 35,000 square feet of unique shops and restaurants including East End Market. “Maitland is such a great city, we are excited to invest in this community and add our footprint,” said David Lamm, the company’s founder. “The retail and restaurants have been conceptually designed and coordinated to enhance the park and activate Independence Lane (future of Festival Street).”

Construction is slated to start this summer on the 3.2-acre parcel between City Hall and Route 17-92 once occupied by a long-closed Winn-Dixie. Currently the old Winn Dixie site generates $16,000 in tax rolls while the new development is expected to generate $250,000-$355,000 in tax rolls to the City of Maitland. The development will generate 200 more jobs during construction and approximately 80 jobs after completion. To read more about the Maitland City Centre, visit http://downtownmaitland.wordpress.com.
